Providence 2007.

On May 11, 2007 our precious angel Jordan came down with Meningitis. Before he could be diagnosed he suffered stokes and seizures and had to be airlifted by Life Guard to Providence Hospital in Anchorage. We almost lost him. Praise God and all those around the world who sent prayers to Heaven for our little boy. It has been a long year of rehabilitation and seizure medications... We thank all the staff at Providence for their Love, Support, Professional services, their deligence, their Compassion and their Prayers. A Special thanks to my sister who flew all the way from NC to be here to hold my hand. A special thanks to Toby, to Allen, to Sara, to KO, to Nola, to Leo, to the Motoyamas, to the Griswalds, to Jack, to Jenni, to my father.
Meningitis is the inflammation of the protective membranes covering the central nervous system, known collectively as the meninges. Meningitis may develop in response to a number of causes, including infectious agents, physical injury, or cancer. While some forms of meningitis are mild and resolve on their own, meningitis is a potentially serious condition owing to the proximity of the inflammation to the brain and spinal cord. The potential for serious neurological damage or even death necessitates prompt medical attention and evaluation. Infectious meningitis, the most common form, is typically treated with antibiotics and requires close observation.
